Educational requirements are as follows: Two-year associate’s degree in Electrical/Electronic technology. Applicants must live, or be willing to relocate, within 30 safe driving minutes of the Canton General Service
Center.

The Stark County Board of Elections is seeking applications from registered voters to work at polling locations throughout Stark county. The Primary Election will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2009. Pollworkers are compensated at a rate of $92.65- $112.65 for Election Day. New pollworkers will receive paid training. Pollworkers must have reliable transportation, and be available on Election Day from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Cancellations occur daily; pollworkers not immediately assigned, are used as positions become available. Individuals are also needed to serve on a standby basis for Election Day. If you are interested in serving at the polls on Election Day, please contact the Board of Elections office.
